July 26th: Digital Media Review Mixer

4INFO at Ad:Tech

4infoparty1_2Last week was Ad:Tech San Francisco, and 4INFO was there in full force!  We kicked off events with a party, co-hosted by Brightroll, held at Slide, an infamous downtown San Francisco speakeasy.

Interactive media types gathered to enjoy such signature drinks as "Text on the Beach" and the "MixtMedia Mojito", while discussing opinions on the next big thing in advertising and media.  We're pretty sure we enjoyed ourselves, but with the two day expo ahead, we had to question the wisdom of hosting such an excellent bash upfront.  Could we live up to it?

Of course we could!  The floor at the Ad:Tech expo was busy, and the 4INFO booth was packed.  We announced our upcoming Ad Marketplace.  We were in awe of the free beer and booth babes in evidence at the show, but even without such attractive offerings, 4INFO managed to attract plenty of visitors who wanted to know more about our national ad network and how to make their content mobile.  It seems that SMS/text messaging is hot, and we're smack-dab in the middle of it all.  It's a good place to be!

Chicago Here We Come

4INFO launched a number of campaigns in the sports-loving town of Chicago. Included in this promotion are some billboards, such as those to and from the United Center, in tech-savvy Bucktown, and a few other areas.

Versus: Soul of a Champion & 4INFO

4INFO Presents at Mobile Monday

Recently, 4INFO's Lee McArthur presented at Mobile Monday, a free monthly presentation and networking event in the San Francisco Bay Area to keep tech professionals in the know about the mobile industry.

This month Mobile Monday invited several companies to demo their products.  Mike Rowehl, co-founder of Mobile Monday, summed up  4INFO's demo on his blog:

Lee from 4Info showed off some of the SMS based query services they run, described some of the notification services they’ve been working on, and clued us in to a super secret “text me” widet you can add to your webpages. They have a bunch of existing alert styles - sports, weather, package tracking, and your own customer reminders you can schedule to get delivered to your phone. Cool deal.

Bite Communications was also in attendance, and we were chosen to be featured in their pod cast on the event!  Check out their blog to read Zinnia's take on the event and to hear 4INFO Lee discuss mobile advertising.

Rams, Eagles, SGW & 4INFO

This past weekend, the Philadelphia Eagles engaged the St. Louis Rams on the gridiron, but teamed up to make their fans publically aware of global warming. Several announcements were made to those in attendance at the Edward Jones Dome, instructing them how to learn more about global warming and join the virtual march.
