4INFO's latest release, "Permanent Generation," launched last week. It includes the following:

1. Mobile Downloads (Ringtones, Games, Wallpapers) Redesign
Our Mobile Downloads area of the web site got an overhaul as part of the scheduled process of our BETA release. It's no surprise that we've added Mobile Downloads to our service offering, what makes us unique is the ability to search for downloads from your cell phone.

RINGTONES - send a text to 4INFO (44636) with:
"ringtone" + song (example: "ringtone candy shop")
"ringtone" + artist (example: "ringtone 50 cent")
"ringtone" + sound (example: "ringtone burp")

WALLPAPERS - send a text to 4INFO (44636) with:
"wallpaper" + subject (example: "wallpaper porsche")

GAMES - send a text to 4INFO (44636) with:
"game" + subject (example: "game wordjong")

*Folks, this is in BETA and currently only works for phones on Cingular. Please send feedback my way if you'd like to do so!

2. City Service (City Name and Zip Code Queries)
Now, whenever you text a city name* or zip code, we use our awesome menu system to return a series of choices for that location. For example:

Query:
Text "92111" to 44636 (4INFO)

Reply Example:
Zip Code 92111: San Diego-CA

*If you query a city name with a professional sports franchise, our service will return the scores for the teams in season, since that is our most popular category. In that case, send the zip code to get the city service.

3. 4INFO Search Application Demo
